Why Mulberry?

All aspects of the mulberry plant, or Morus alba , are used in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The berry is used to strengthen the blood, the bark is for clearing phlegm from the lungs, the leaves to stop coughing. The plant is also used by silkworms for the nourishment while making silk threads. Every aspect of this plant has a useful purpose for more than one species and weighs in the balance of our delicate ecosystem.

As the silkworm receives his nourishment from the leaves, he is able to create something beautiful and resilient for the rest of the world to enjoy. Essentially, Angela hopes the same for her patients: to use all of the benefits traditional Chinese medicine has to offer so that individuals can come closer to existing as the highest versions of themselves, making the world a better place for everyone.
